I’m iAsia Brown, a U.S. Marine Corps and Air Force veteran, creative producer, and doctoral candidate dedicated to the art of storytelling through games and film.

My career has taken me from serving in the military to leading production at Xbox, where I’ve helped bring player-driven experiences to life. Alongside my work in gaming, I’m pursuing a doctorate in education, researching how video games and 3D animation can be used as powerful tools for teaching social and emotional learning.

As a filmmaker, I’m passionate about crafting narratives that reflect diverse voices and lived experiences — stories that challenge, inspire, and spark connection. My projects aim to show what’s possible when technology and creativity collide.

Beyond the screen, I’m committed to building pathways for underrepresented communities. Through initiatives like my scholarship fund at the University of Southern California, I’m working to ensure the next generation of creators has the support, visibility, and opportunities they deserve.

I believe in the power of unity. I'm convinced that stories, when conveyed through the potent mediums of gaming, art, and film, have the unmatched ability to weave communities together. By combining the engrossing realm of gaming with the expressive essence of art and the enthralling journey of film, I create spaces where individuals from diverse backgrounds can connect, share, and evolve together.

My dedication transcends traditional storytelling; it's about chronicling real lives, real challenges, and real triumphs. I endeavor to reflect the world as it is, capturing and portraying the multifaceted tapestry of lived experiences. Education & Public Speaking

With the privilege of addressing global audiences, I hold a deep passion for disseminating knowledge, insights, and experiences that have the power to enlighten, motivate, and reshape perspectives. My public speaking endeavors range from intimate gatherings to grand symposiums, diving into a plethora of subjects from the transformative essence of art to the intricate dynamics of community building. For me, every talk is more than a monologue; it's an engaging dialogue, an avenue to connect, share, and collectively grow.

Philantrophy

It is my steadfast belief that every person, irrespective of their origins, should be given the chance to influence the future. As a veteran, I consider it my responsibility to contribute to the communities that have shaped me and in which I continue to serve, with the aim of empowering the upcoming generation. With this in mind, the iAsia Brown Endowed Scholarship Fund has been created to offer scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Game Development and Interactive Design at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. My vision is to nurture a future where students, enthusiastic about game development and interactive design, are not only encouraged but are also equipped with the necessary resources to transform their passion into groundbreaking innovations. Through this endowment, we will not only be supporting individual dreams but also contributing to the advancement of the gaming and interactive design industry as a whole.
